Grand Me
Celebrating her 9th birthday, Melina is finally old enough to bring her custody case to court. With the law on her side, she hopes to choose her own custodian. Unfortunately, Melina is not aware of how the adult world is organized and how things will probably play out.
Don't try and edit the footage, that's impossible, instead only try to realise the truth. There is no footage. Then you'll see it's not the footage you're editing, only yourself.

About me
Katarina Turler
Born in Zurich in 1968, I pursued stage design and photography before moving to the Netherlands in 1991 for further studies.
At the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, I shifted focus to photography, finding it a more practical choice. Later, I studied film and television sciences at the University of Amsterdam, drawn by the narrative potential of my photographic works.
Transitioning to film editing, I established myself as a freelance editor, working on successful projects like "Nijnok" and "Dreaming by Numbers."
Today, I continue exploring the intersection of documentary and narrative filmmaking, pushing boundaries in both genres.
